Europe Your Own Way invites you to join us in Italy. Standard itinerary starts and ends in Rome with stops including wine tasting, cooking classes and beautiful medieval towns along the way. This is designed as an 8 day trip but can be customized for a longer or shorter experience. We can also adjust the itinerary based on your interests – one recent group added a Cinque Terre hike to the itinerary and had a fantastic time!

Itinerary:
Day 1 (Sun) – Rome arrival, train to Florence
Day 2 (Mon) – Florence (including guided walking tour and skip-the-line admission to the Accademia Gallery (Statue of David))
Day 3 (Tues) – Pisa (including ticket for leaning tower visit) and Lucca
Day 4 (Weds) – San Gimignano, Castellina in Chianti (including tour of organic farm/balsamic vinegar production), Siena
Day 5 (Thurs) – Siena (self-guided tour of the town)
Day 6 (Fri) – Cooking class, then arrival in Rome
Day 7 (Sat) – Rome (including full day guided walking tour and skip-the-line admission to the Colosseum and Sistine Chapel)
Day 8 (Sun) – Rome departure
Includes (but can be customized): 7 nights accommodation (2 nights in Florence, 1 night in Lucca, 2 nights in Siena, 2 nights in Rome), 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 3 dinners, transportation from town to town, cooking class, guided walking tour of Florence and Rome (with skip-the-line tickets), admission to leaning tower in Pisa. Personalized additions either before or after the noted itinerary are possible and gladly accommodated for additional costs.

Not included: airfare, city taxes (roughly $3 per person per night), tips, meals and costs other than those noted, travel insurance
