Step aboard your waiting expedition vessel and spend the next several days immersed in Antarctica’s surreal beauty—towering icebergs, curious penguins, calving glaciers, whales surfacing beside your Zodiac.
Expert guides lead you across this otherworldly landscape, deepening your understanding of its wildlife, history, and fragile power. Then, in true explorer spirit, you sail back across the Drake to Ushuaia, following the path of legendary polar adventurers.

Itinerary Outline
DAY 1 | Arrive in Punta Arenas, Chile
Begin your journey in the southernmost reaches of Patagonia. Settle into your hotel, explore lively museums and cafés, then meet the group for a welcome dinner and briefing with your Expedition Team.
DAY 2 | Fly to King George Island & Embark
Board your charter flight for a breathtaking two-hour journey over the Drake Passage—your first glimpse of Antarctica from the air. Land on King George Island, travel to shore, and transfer by Zodiac to your expedition ship. Set sail toward the Antarctic Peninsula.
DAYS 3–6 | Antarctic Peninsula & South Shetland Islands
Experience the magic of Antarctica in its purest form. Each day brings new landings, Zodiac excursions, wildlife encounters, and ever-changing ice landscapes.
Highlights include:
- Your first unforgettable Zodiac landing
- Walking among bustling penguin colonies (Adélie, gentoo & chinstrap)
- Zodiac cruises in search of whales, seals & sculptural icebergs
- Expert-led talks on glaciology, wildlife, photography & exploration history
- The thunder of calving glaciers and the possibility of orcas or leopard seals on the hunt

DAYS 7–8 | Sailing the Drake Passage
Earn your explorer stripes as you cross the legendary Drake Passage by ship. Scan the horizon with your Expedition Team for albatross, minke and humpback whales, and other sea life. Attend final presentations, share photos, and savor the last moments of Antarctic wilderness.
DAY 9 | Ushuaia to Buenos Aires
Arrive in Ushuaia in the morning and disembark after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your group charter flight to Buenos Aires, where your Antarctic adventure concludes.
