Day-by-Day Itinerary:
October 6 – Arrival in Valencia
We arrive in vibrant Valencia and are greeted with a seamless airport transfer to our hotel. After settling in, the evening is free to enjoy the city’s seaside breezes and lively Mediterranean charm.
October 7 – Valencia’s Old Town & Tapas Experience
This morning, our local guide leads us through Valencia’s historic center—winding lanes, elegant plazas, and centuries of stories.
In the afternoon, we savor a guided tapas tour, tasting our way through beloved local spots as we sip regional wines and learn about Valencia’s culinary traditions.
October 8 – Albufera, Boat Ride & Paella Lunch
With our private driver and local guide, we explore the serene beauty of Albufera Natural Park. We glide across the lagoon on a traditional boat before indulging in an authentic paella lunch where the famous dish originated. The relaxed coastal atmosphere offers a perfect balance of culture and nature.
October 9 – High-Speed Train to Córdoba & Transfer to the Costa del Sol
We begin the day with a smooth transfer to the Valencia train station and board the AVE high-speed train to Córdoba. Upon arrival, a local guide brings the city to life, culminating in a visit to the magnificent Mosque–Cathedral—one of Spain’s most extraordinary monuments.
Afterward, our driver takes us south to the Costa del Sol, where ocean views and warm breezes welcome us.
October 10 – Discovering Málaga
Today we explore Málaga with a private driver and a knowledgeable local guide. From the impressive Cathedral to the ancient Alcazaba fortress, we immerse ourselves in the city’s layered history. Charming streets, seaside vistas, and lively culture blend into a memorable day.
October 11 – Ronda & Setenil de las Bodegas
We head into the mountains to the dramatic cliff-top town of Ronda. With our guide, we wander its iconic bridge, romantic old town, and sweeping vistas. On the way back, we stop in Setenil de las Bodegas, a truly unique “white village” built directly into massive rock overhangs—an unforgettable sight.
October 12 – The Alhambra & Coastal Evening in Nerja
A highlight of the trip: a guided visit to Granada’s Alhambra, where Moorish palaces, tranquil courtyards, and hilltop gardens offer breathtaking views.
Later, we continue to the lovely seaside town of Nerja for free time—perfect for strolling, relaxing, and enjoying the famous Balcony of Europe.
October 13 – Gibraltar Adventure & Transfer to Seville
We journey to Gibraltar for a fascinating guided visit. We explore the Pillars of Hercules, marvel at the illuminated chambers of St. Michael’s Cave, walk the Skywalk with sweeping views, meet the famous Barbary macaques, and explore the Great Siege Tunnels.
In the afternoon, we continue to beautiful Seville, our home for the next two nights.
October 14 – Seville’s Icons & Flamenco Passion
Our local guide reveals the magic of Seville—wandering through its historic streets, visiting the awe-inspiring Cathedral and the royal Alcázar, and admiring the elegant Plaza de España.
As evening falls, we experience an authentic flamenco show, where music and movement capture the very soul of Andalusia.
October 15 – Into Portugal: Tavira & Vila Real → Lagos
We depart Seville and cross into Portugal’s Algarve region with our driver-guide. Along the way, we stop to explore Vila Real de Santo António and the charming riverside town of Tavira. The day ends in Lagos, where golden cliffs and azure waters await.
October 16 – Benagil Caves by Private Boat
Today we enjoy a roundtrip transfer to Benagil for a private boat tour into the region’s spectacular sea caves. The iconic Benagil Cave—with its glowing natural skylight—is a true highlight of the Algarve.
October 17 – Leisure Day in the Algarve
A full day at leisure to soak up Portugal’s coastline. Relax on the beach, take a hike along the cliffs, shop in town, or savor fresh seafood—this day is all yours.
October 18 – Departure from Faro
We conclude our journey with a private transfer to Faro Airport, filled with unforgettable memories of sun, culture, and coastal beauty.
